Food
Flavor and Texture - 50/60
I ordered the Sukiyaki which is a hot pot dish that consists of fatty beef, cabbage, carrots, green onions, mushrooms, tofu, and yam noodles. I added a raw egg as well. Questionable decision for some; however, mixing the raw egg into the hot broth creates a luxurious texture enhancing the flavor to an already delicious dish.
The fatty beef was not overcooked or chewy which can happen with these types of dishes. The tofu was firm and did not dissolve in the semi-sweet and savory broth. I am always tempted to finish the broth but out of respect for my cardiovascular system I try to limit my sodium intake.
Quality/Skillfulness - 8/10
I find that any dish on Kiki's menu will receive the same level of quality and care.
Value - 8/10
The quality and portion of food justifies the price point.
